The Connections concept was created when Bob and Carissa began developing relationships with photo organizations and groups across Canada and the US. Naturally, these "connections" provided opportunities to bring photographers work to other cities outside of Toronto, then back to their gallery and others around the city. We believe that expanding a photographer’s reach is beneficial to professional growth. Getting outside of one’s community and having fresh eyes looking at new work and getting feedback. Our main goal is to create a network of photographers and galleries that can work together to showcase photography.
Now called Connections Projects, this endeavour includes pop ups, educational events and coaching for photographers. Connections Projects now manages a small group of photographers listed under the Dylan Ellis Gallery, providing support and opportunities to exhibit and lecture about their work.
